Ambassador of Sweden to Armenia H.E. Mr. Ulrik Tideström and Mr. Martin Fredriksson, Charge d’ affaires of the Swedish Embassy in Armenia met with the Acting Minister of Nature Protection Mr. Erik Grigoryan.
Mr. Erik Grigoryan presented the policy conducted in environmental protection sector, the main directions and targets of undertaken reforms. Ambassador Tideström extended his thanks for the reception and confirmed Sweden's interest in supporting the reforms undertaken by Armenia in the sphere of environmental protection.
In the course of the meeting, a reference was made to global environmental challenges, specifically, issues concerning climate change, single use plastic and waste management.
