An appointment is required to apply for a passport at the Consulate General in San Francisco.

Please bring requested docuemnts to your appointment.

To book a passport appointment, please use the link below. In the booking system, select the option "Apply for Swedish passport or ID documents".

Appointment slots for September will be released on July 1st at 12:00 pm PT. Every Friday at 10:00 am PT, additional appointment slots for the upcoming week are published. IMPORTANT! Please note that passport appointments cannot be booked for other consular services.

If you need to cancel your appointment, please use the booking system. For same-day cancellations, please send an email to sanfrancisco@gov.se or call 
415-268 0800 between 8:00 am and 9:00 am PT.

An appointment is required when visiting the Consulate General in San Francisco for consular matters such as applications for coordination numbers or passport pick-ups.

Pick-up passport:
You only need to book one appointment, even if you're picking up several passports.
