You can apply for a Swedish ordinary passport or emergency passport and national ID card at the Consulate General in Shanghai. If you apply for a passport at the Embassy in Beijing, Consulate General in Hongkong or at another passport authority, you can choose to retrieve the passport at the Consulate General in Shanghai at the time of application.
Application of passport or retrieving a passport at the Consulate General is only available by appointment.
The Consulate General's office hours for passport matters are Wednesdays at 13:30-16:00. Please bring the completed forms to your appointment. If you are unable to come, please cancel your appointment.
You can pay the application fee by bank or credit card or Alipay.
