As of 1 July, 2019, The Embassy of France, which issues ordinary visas to Sweden, advises that there is a minimum of three weeks waiting time for a visa appointment. Make sure to plan your visa application well in advance.
In Zimbabwe, it's the Embassy of France which handles and issues ordinary tourist and business visas to Sweden.
This is done under the 'Schengen' arrangement.
