"Look Again - A Reality You Don't See" is a series of public talks and a photo exhibition aiming at unfolding a differently perceived reality as well as a reality of marginalized groups that we usually don't see.
The exhibition consists of "Images that changed the world", by the Swedish photographer Tomas Gunnarsson, that shows what happens when stereotypes and social norms are mixed and matched.
It also includes works by five authors from Serbia depicting images from the everyday life of five marginalized groups such as women as workers; drag performers; people living in hazardous environments; urban subcultures and the Roma community.
The authors are Jelena Simeunović, Artinjan Artinović, Mihajlo Marković, Aleksandar Andjelković and Neda Mojsilović.
Three panel discussions focusing on women at work, drag culture in Serbia, endangered environments and pollution in Serbia, will be arranged on 22, 23 and 24 November at 19.00.
The exhibitions will be open until 30 November 2021.
We look forward to seeing you at Kvaka 22, Ruzveltova 39, Belgrade.
Welcome!
