In September 2019, Igor Pascal and Elena Cazac were rewarded for their long and faithful service for Sweden in Moldova.
Igor is the driver, cashier and caretaker of the Embassy while Elena is our national administrative officer, cashier and programme assistant. They have both been working for the Swedish government in Moldova for the past 17 years and in September, they were honored with the Swedish Foreign Service Medal of Merit. The medal was handed over by Ambassador Anna Lyberg during a ceremony in the garden of the residence.
We are very happy for the good work they are doing at the Embassy and hope they want to stay with us for many more years!
