Visa to Sweden

Starting from the 01.01.2024 citizens of Kosovo can travel without a visa to the Schengen area (incl. Sweden) for short - term stays of up to 90 days within a period of 180 days.

The entry ban ended 31 March 2012, meaning that no corona specific entry restrictions are in effect from 1 April 2022. Negative test or vaccine certificates are not required to enter Sweden. Ordinary entry requirements applies, like holding a valid travel document, and possibly a visa.

There are media reports suggesting that the check-points between northern Kosovo and Serbia may close on the Serbian side from 6-8 September 2024. Travelers are advised to seek other routes.
