The European Film Week in Iran is finally here! The film week takes place 8-17 June 2019 in the following Iranian cities: Tehran, Kerman, Tabriz, Babol, Shiraz, Isfahan, Mashhad and Kish. Sweden is particpating with "A man called Ove".
"A Man Called Ove" is based on the best-selling book with the same name by Fredrik Backman. The novel was published in 2012. It reached no. 1 on the New York Times Best Seller List and remained on the list for a consecutive 77 weeks.
This film was directed by Hannes Holm and was Sweden’s Oscar nomination for best foreign film in 2017.
