The Swedish Migration Agency is planning to conduct an ID- and passport control pop-up in Hong Kong in June/July 2025.
The pop-up will be applicable to visa-exempt nationalities residing in Hong Kong or Macao who have applied for a residence permit for the purpose of studying or working in Sweden. More information will be posted here and on the Consulate General’s social media accounts shortly.
Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all States in the world. It has embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
