In order to reduce the risk of spread of COVID-19 virus the Embassy of Sweden in Cairo decided to temporarily change opening hours for the migration section.
The migration reception will be open for public cases every working day (Sunday to Thursday) between 09.30 -11.00. Telephone hours are from 13.00 – 14.00.
We kindly encourage to submit online applications instead of paper applications in order to limit the unnecessary visit at the reception. The processing time at the Swedish Migration Agency is the same regardless if your application was submitted as paper on online. For more information please visit: www.migrationsverket.se
If you have submitted an online application for a residence permit, you should schedule an appointment after the Swedish Migration Agency has asked you to do so.
