On June 6, the Consulate General hosted the Swedish National Day Reception in Shanghai themed with Swedish Design in collaboration with IKEA and H&M.
Beautiful installations from IKEA and H&M were being displayed during the event. In addition, the Consulate showcased its crystal collection from Orrefors and Kosta Boda.
The reception brought together Swedish design companies that believe design can accelerate the progress to a sustainable society. Increased interest and demand in Swedish design and other sustainable products and services from Sweden, is aligned with the goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Around 400 guests including representatives from the Chinese government as well as from the business and diplomatic communities joined this joyful occasion to celebrate Sweden and Swedish design.
