Preamble: On Sunday 20 October, the Consulate General of Sweden arranged the study fair “StudyInSweden” together with the Swedish Institute and a large number of Swedish universities.
The event aimed to inspire Chinese students to choose Sweden as their target destination for future studies. The event was attended by more than 250 students, who had the opportunity to discuss potential studies in Sweden with representatives from 13 Swedish universities. The participants also had the opportunity to try mushroom picking in a Swedish forest and watch the Pride parade in Stockholm while wearing a VR headset. The Embassy of Sweden in Beijing and the Swedish Institute hosted similar events in Beijing and Guangzhou.
Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all States in the world. It has embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
