On Tuesday minister for infrastructure Tomas Eneroth inaugurated the Swedish pavilion at China International Import Expo (CIIE).
The pavilion organized by Business Sweden showcases more than 30 Swedish companies on a theme of sustainability and innovation. Around ten Swedish companies have their own pavilions in the sector specific areas, including Volvo Cars, Lantmännen and AstraZeneca.
CIIE is open 5-10 November at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. Apart from visiting the expo minister Eneroth participated in a Sino-Nordic roundtable discussion on trade and met with vice minister of commerce Wang Bingnan.
Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all States in the world. It has embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
