The Consulate, together with Shanghai Pride and the Consulates General of Denmark, Finland and Norway in Shanghai, presents a Nordic Day at the 2019 Shanghai Pride Film Festival (ShPFF) on June 16.
It is the first time that the Nordic consulates co-organize a joint event with Shanghai Pride. The Nordic Day screens 11 films, with two Swedish films "Pictures of Leo" and "Thrust" included. Besides film screenings, there is also a "Queer Lives: Nordic vs Shanghai" themed discussion session where representatives of the four Nordic countries share their personal experiences.
The event is open to the public for free and requires registration in advance.
