Telephone hours: weekdays at 08.45 - 11.45 and 14.00 - 16.00.

When the Consulate General is closed, you can be connected to the Consular Emergency Center in Stockholm by calling the switchboard and select this option or by calling +46 8 405 5005. The Consular Emergency Center can be reached all year 24/7. 

Passports and consular issues for Swedes

Migration issues

The migration section is open for visitors on Monday - Friday at 9:00 - 11:00 (drop in).

For those applicants who need to conduct an interview for residence permit please book an appointment through email: generalkonsulat.shanghai-visum@gov.se.

Please include your full name, cell phone number and control number as provided by the Swedish Migration Agency (if applicable) as well as the purpose of your visit in the e-mail.
