Important information concerning Schengen visa applications
A visa application for visiting the Schengen area should be decided within 15 days from the application date according to the Schengen regulations.
However, due to the high number of applications during high season the Embassy of Sweden would like to inform that a decision might take a longer time than 15 days.
We advise all applicants to apply as early as possible in order to receive their necessary visas. We also would like to inform that it is possible to apply 90 days before departure date.
