Rules regarding the import of pets to Sweden

The rules of importing dogs, cats and ferrets are intended to prevent the spread of rabies in Sweden. The rules are set by the European Union.

The Swedish Board of Agriculture's website is regularly updated. Please visit it often to keep up to date and read everything at least once in order not to miss important information about the regulations to bring a pet to Sweden.
