Going to Sweden?

Due to limited staffing at the Swedish Embassy in Moscow, the Migration Department will temporarily change its opening hours and availability. The Embassy intends to return to regular opening hours and availability as soon as possible. For the time being, it is not possible to apply for a Schengen visa to Sweden either at the Embassy or at VFS Global. Exceptions are only made for urgent situations where the application can be submitted directly at the Embassy after approval from the embassy. The need for an urgent visa shall be substantiated by a medical certificate or other relevant documents. The Embassy staff assesses what falls within the framework of emergency/distressing circumstances. No advance notice can be given.
