The Embassy strives to promote trade and investments between Sweden and Ethiopia by means of facilitating contacts between the two countries business sectors and government agencies. Creating a sustainable cooperation with the local authorities, business entities and communities to promote and develop trade and investments between Sweden and Ethiopia is an important part of our work.
We strive to give support to Swedish investors or companies based in Ethiopia in order to facilitate their smooth business development and dialogue with government authorities.

Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all States in the world. It has embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
