Finland, that represents Sweden in issuing Schengen visas in Bulgaria, has terminated the representation agreement effective from December 31st 2024. This means that applications for Schengen visas cannot be submitted to the Embassy of Finland after this date.
Since Bulgaria now is part of the Schengen area, if you are a resident of Bulgaria and wish to apply for at Schengen visa from January 1st 2025, you can turn to one of the five existing Schengen hubs. The Schengen hubs are the following Embassies:
Athens
Berlin
Madrid
Paris
Rome
